The event will function as both a convention and a celebration, showcasing nearly twenty of the biggest names in rum with tastings and seminars by distillers, brand ambassadors and respected author Ed Hamilton.
The day will be marked by salsa dancing lessons, a Best Piña Colada competition sponsored by Coco Reál with participants from ten of the city’s best beverage programs, and a flairtending competition hosted by former flairtending champion Levi Donaldson, as seen on ESPN.
Entertainment for the event will include performances by a steel band, local funk artists the Smoke Shop Kids, and official DJ of the Indiana Pacers, DJZNYCE.
“We’re very excited to have the opportunity to bring the spirit of rum to bourbon country” says Tommy Johns of 750four Productions. “We’ve been certain to invite an array of professionals from the industry in the hopes of helping to forge synergistic relationships between the distinctly influential spheres of rum and American whiskey.”
