Kahlua Cinnamon SpiceKahlúa tells BourbonBlog.com they will release the new Kahlúa Cinnamon Spice this month, October 2011. It is a robust blend of rum, 100% Arabica coffee and traditional Mexican spices.

From Veracruz, Mexico, the new Kahlúa Cinnamon Spice is infused with the flavors of brown sugar, and cinnamon.

This was inspired by the traditional Mexican Coffee “Café de Olla” – which blends coffee, cinnamon, brown sugar (piloncillo), and is served in an ‘olla’ a traditional earthenware.

Cinnamon spice is a flavor that underscores Kahlúa’s rich Mexican heritage, with the pice as a common flavor found in Mexican cooking and beverages.  We predict some new creations after mixing with this liqueur. Perhaps we’ll try a take on the Mexican Hot Cocoa which contains chilli peppers and cinnamon.

We’ll bring you a review of the new Kahlúa Cinnamon Spice on BourbonBlog.com.

Some comfort flavors arrive with perfect timing to give us some warmth as it is getting a bit cooler here!

Kahlúa Cinnamon Spice joins original Kahlúa, Kahlúa Especial, Kahlúa French Vanilla, Kahlúa Hazelnut and Kahlúa Mocha Limited Edition during the holiday season.
