The star studded bash is held at the home of Patricia Barnstable-Brown, who co-hosts the event with her twin sister Priscilla Barnstable. “Our 25th year is going to be phenomenal,” Patricia tells us. “It’ll be one for the history books.”
In addition, Maserati will be premiering never-before-seen luxury cars at the gala, while social media company Twitter is bringing its unique “Twitter Mirror,” which recently debuted at the Oscars, for instant photo sharing. And, to honor the gala’s 25th anniversary, New Era hat company will present every guest with a complimentary hat complete with a custom Barnstable Brown Gala 25th anniversary hat box, and Vineyard Vines is giving gifts to party guests, including ties, scarves, handkerchiefs and belts.
About the Barnstable Brown Gala: The celebrity packed gala, which has raised and donated approximately $9,000,000 to the Barnstable Brown Diabetes and Obesity Research Center at the University of Kentucky over the past seven years, is in its 25th year. Founded by twin sisters Patricia Barnstable Brown and Priscilla Barnstable, along with Patricia’s late husband Dr. David E. Brown, this year’s gala will be held on Friday, May 3, beginning at 8:00 p.m.
