I’ll Have Another again wins Preakness Stakes! This is the first horse since 2008 to win the first two legs of the Triple Crown. It was déjà vu with a comeback towards the end again putting Bodemeister in second with an exciting finish to the 137th running of the Preakness Stakes today Pimlico Race Course in Maryland.

I’ll Have Another slipped into third before exploding from outside with an eight of the mile left to run down Bodemeister before hitting the finish line with a time of 1:55.94.

BourbonBlog.com predicted the winner of Kentucky Derby 138 in this story, and we’ve been suggesting the best way to pick a horse win in any race is to go with a name that reminds of you bourbon…or drinking another.

Below is the official Bourbon Cocktail from the Preakness Stakes below and check out our Kentucky Derby 138 coverage on this link.

The winner, second-favorite behind Bodemeister, paid $8.40, $3.80 and $2.80. Bodemeister returned $3.20 and $2.80, and Creative Cause paid $3.60 to show.

The next race in the Triple Crown is the Belmont Stakes in New York on June 9, 2012, do YOU think that I’ll Have Another will win again? Tell us below under comments!
