This was my father’s favorite brand of whiskey as I remembered him drinking as I grew up.
Then he stopped drinking it……I was too young back then to understand what was wrong.
Now that 4R has returned to the US market, and we tasted some of the current 4R this October while doing the “Trail” , I now have 3 different 4R expressions to savor in memory of my Father. Yellow Label, Single Barrel, and 100th Anniversary 4R.

To my Father…….Long live 4R and Jim Rutledge
