A bourbon review worth taking note of, though this one is one of our favorite Kentucky bourbon whiskey barrel aged beers!  Bluegrass Brewing Company’s Jefferson’s Reserve Bourbon Barrel Stout is reviewed as a “Highly Recommended Choice” as Cigar Aficionado Magazine covers it in their new issue according to Scott Roussell, Managing Partner of BBC.  Not long ago, we visited Louisville in BourbonBlog.com’s  BBC Brewery Episode and learned more about their Bourbon Barrel Stout and beers, video below

BBC’s Bourbon Barrel Stout  was the only barrel aged beer in the group.  The description of the stout is, “Intensely dark color. Nose coffee and licorice. Palate of a maduro cigar, with dark chocolate and coffee. Dry finish with slight honey.”
