Maker's Mark Bourbon Whisky BottleTop mixologists from Texas share their gifts of winter bourbon recipes with holiday themes..Bourbon Coffee, Gingerbread, molasses, apple cider..No those are all in different drinks, start mixing as the Maker’s Mark recipes are below…

A Maker’s Christmas
(created by the bartending team at Branch Water Tavern in Houston, Texas)

Recipe:
2 ounces of Maker’s Mark Bourbon
1 ounce of Monin Gingerbread
1/2 ounce Dekuyper’s Hazelnut Bliss
2 dashes of Orange Bitters
a splash of “Real” lemon juice concentrate

Mix all ingredients, stir generously in shaker tin and strain into a cocktail glass.

Winter’s Mark

Recipe:
1.5 ounces of Maker’s Mark Bourbon Whisky
1 ounces of Dekuyper Amaretto
1.5 ounces of Cruzan Cream

Put ingredients in a cocktail shaker, fill with ice, and shake vigorously. Strain in to a rocks glass with no ice. (Cocktail should be frothy on top). Grade fresh nutmeg over the top.


Bourbon County Coffee

Recipe:
2 ounces of Maker’s Mark Bourbon
1 bar spoon of molasses (or to taste)
4 oz strong, hot black coffee
Heavy cream

In heat safe glass, combine Maker’s, molasses, and coffee. Stir until well mixed. Using a bar spoon, carefully layer 1/4 inch of cream on top of coffee. Garnish with pinch of cinnamon and pinch of nutmeg.

Campfire Cocktail

Recipe:
1.5 ounces of Maker’s Mark Bourbon
.5 ounces of fresh lemon juice
.5 ounces of honey (2 parts honey to 1 part water)
1 ounce of apple cider
2 dashes of Angostura Bitters
4 pieces crystallized ginger

Muddle Ginger, lemon and honey in mixing glass. Add apple cider, Maker’s Mark, bitters and ice. Shake and strain into iced double old fashioned glass. Garnish w/skewered crystallized ginger.

    Unusual statement. I can see it be the truth anyhow not necessarily. I often wouldn’t publish however I wanted to chime in this particular instance and let you know I enjoy the weblog.
